Mildred Roslovic Beaver, 92
MIDLAND - Mildred Roslovic Beaver, 92, of Midland, passed away, Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at home.
Born Nov. 3, 1920 in Midland, she was a daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Mercon) Roslovic, and had been a resident of Midland all of her life. She had been a secretary at the former Silverman's Furniture Store and Crucible Steel, both in Midland. She was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Circle of Serbian Sisters, Midland Serbian Club, and the Midland VFW. She was the director of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church Choir for over 50 years, and one of the original members. She received the Gramat Award from Bishop Mitrophan and the Adam Popvich Award, both for excellence in liturgical music.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Ray Beaver, sisters Mary Rajsich and Mitzi Kragulac, and a brother Nick Roslovic.
She is survived by a brother, Emil "Moe" Roslovic, a sister, Daisy Sobat, and a special niece, Eileen Sobat, all of Midland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, in the Schwerha-Noll Funeral Home, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland, where a Pomen Service will be held at 7:30 pm. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. George Church by Father Milan Krstic. Online condolences may be shared at nollfuneral.com.
