Chester Hall of Fame Committee
CHESTER - The Chester Hall of Fame Committee has scheduled the 2013 Induction Ceremony to coincide with the 2013 July 4 festivities in the city.
Officers recently met to make plans for next year. They remind the area residents that the committee continues to depend on nominations from the public for consideration into Chester's Hall of Fame. Nominations are accepted year round. Nominations for past or present city residents who have had a profound positive influence on the history or development of the city are welcomed. Forms are available now at the Chester City Clerk's office, Franks Bakery and Connie's Corner Restaurant.
The Committee invites the public to visit the Hall of Fame Wall on display at the Chester City Hall Building. More information regarding nominations and the details for the 2013 project will be forthcoming.
