EAST LIVERPOOL - The American Spirit Academy/Christian School will be having the annual fundraising auction 6 p.m. Saturday at the First Free Methodist Church, St. Clair, Ave. Hot food service will begin at 5 p.m.

NEWELL - The Tri-State Genealogical and Historical Society will host a day for researching 2-10 p.m. Saturday at the research library in the Wells School Building, Newell. Staff will be on hand to answer questions as you search your family history. Bonnie Ryan, staff volunteer at Tri-State Genealogy and Historical Society, will present "Your Family History/Getting Started" 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Lynn Murray Library, Chester.
