CALCUTTA - By presenting a fundraising flyer, patrons of Bob Evans in Calcutta on Monday will aid "Project HOPE of Beaver County," a Midland-based non-profit organization that provides the community with education about HIV prevention and transmission. EAST LIVERPOOL - Wednesday, poet and nurse Jeanne Bryner will read from her new book of poetry "Smoke" at two locations - 1 p.m. at Java Joe's Coffee House on East Fifth Street and 6:30 p.m. at Kent-East Liverpool. Both readings are open to the public. Bryner also will address several Kent classes. Bryner was the winner of the Wick Poetry Program Chapbook Series with Breathless in 1995.
