AURORA, Ohio - Veronica White (Ronnie) McEntee, 76, passed away at the Aurora Manor in Aurora, Ohio, on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, following a lengthy illness.
Ronnie was born in East Liverpool on June 16, 1936, the daughter of the late Francis P. and Veronica (Zebak) White.
She spent her childhood years in and around East Liverpool with her brother Pat and extended family before going to St. Mary of the Springs in Columbus (now Ohio Dominican College).
Ronnie raised her family and made many friends while living in Columbus, Omaha, Neb., Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and Hudson, Ohio. She received her degree in Journalism from Kent State University while living in Hudson and was employed by the Davey Tree Company in Kent as well as Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She relocated to the Atlanta area in 1981, where she resided until 2008. There she worked at the Life Chiropractic College. She moved back to Aurora in the fall of 2008. She enjoyed music, theater, dance, reading and writing.
Three daughters and one son survive: Lynn Huey and her husband, Patrick, of Plano, Texas; Cathy Gipson and her husband, Matthew, of Alpharetta, Ga.; Amy Hadlow and her husband, Gene, of Roswell, Ga.; and Patrick McEntee and his wife, Marybeth, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and their father, Robert McEntee of Big Canoe, Ga.
Twelve grandchildren also survive, as well as two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, her brother Patrick White, Ph.D and his wife, Mary Hannah (Burton), of Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Arrangements are pending at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool.
Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
