CHANDLER, Ariz. - Christina Ann Woodburn-Fuhrmann-Cruise, born Oct. 16, 1967, in East Liverpool, died Oct. 6, 2012. She most recently resided in Chandler, Ariz.
She was proceeded in death by her late father, Jerry Douglas Woodburn.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Cruise and their sons, Keegan, Gavin and Tristan Cruise; her ex-husband, Rex Fuhrmann and their sons, Alexander, Nikoli and Dmitri Fuhrmann; mother, Eva Cycyn Woodburn; Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Warren Lerch and Uncle Terry Lawrence.
As a child she attended North Elementary School in East Liverpool. She later moved with her parents to Santa Monica, Calif., before finally transitioning to Tempe, Ariz. A graduate from Westwood High School in Mesa, Ariz., she later attended Mesa Community College. Following her educational endeavors she worked in the retail field showing exemplary skills in sales and customer service. Employed by the Mesa Public School system operating in facets ranging from special education to participating as a teaching assistant. Her passion for encouraging the growth and development of children was a lifetime ambition.
The legacy she leaves will forever remain distilled within the memories of those who were fortunate enough to have known her and witnessed her breathtaking smile. Some of her passions included gymnastics which she devoted her formative years to, music in all of its forms, extensive traveling across the United States, and most importantly raising her six sons to be Godly men.
Memorial services are public and will be held at the Bueler Mortuary and Chapel, 14 West Hulet Drive, Chandler, at 10 a.m. Oct. 13, 2012. The funeral and burial service, also public, will be located at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Road, following the ceremonies.
