In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, Robert K. Turner, 45, South Union Avenue, Salem, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 178 days in jail for driving under suspension, criminal damaging, theft and obstruction official business for giving the name of Kenneth G. Mason during a traffic stop when he had a warrant. According to court documents, Turner on Oct. 19, 2011, broke out the window of a work van belonging to Brian and Robin Falk and took $60.
Raymond Duffield, 70, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, was fined $675, had his license suspended for 180 days and sentenced to 20 days in jail for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Corey C. Stahl, 23, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $150, had his license suspended for six months and required 30 hours community service for drug paraphernalia for a grinder in his vehicle in April.
Paul R. Davis Jr., 40, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and required 30 hours community service for driving under suspension.
Anthony M. Zimmerly, 23, state Route 644, Kensington, was fined $130 for a seat belt violation and driving without a valid license amended from driving under FRA suspension.
Jordan Fender, 19, East 15th Street, Salem, and Samantha Kelley, 21, West Pershing Street, Salem, were each fined $50 for criminal trespassing in a vacant home on East State Street at 12:47 a.m. last Thursday.
Timothy Allen Hicks Jr., 20, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was fined $50 for no motorcycle endorsement.
An Oct. 16 pretrial was set for Joseph S. Messenger, 20, Woodsdale Avenue, Hanoverton, charged with assault for allegedly confronting a man in Centennial Park on Sept. 5, accusing the man of being a child molester, striking him in the nose with his forehead and slapping him in the jaw. An Oct. 18 pretrial was set for David R. Crowe III, 28, West Washington Street, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence. Court documents allege Crowe grabbed Vickie Tice around the throat on Saturday.
Pretrials were set on Nov. 6 for both Michael I. Baker, 18, Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, and Mykel J. Simms, 19, Elk Alley, Lisbon, charged with criminal trespassing and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Both men are accused of operating bulldozers without permission on the property of Oxford Mining on Saturday.
A Nov. 6 pretrial was set for Mary S. Bailey, 58, Pinewood Drive, New Waterford, cited with failure to reinstate her license and transfer registration of a vehicle.

Court documents alleged police found a scale, three smoking pipes, rolling papers, empty K2/Spice plastic containers and a suspected marijuana seed in his car.
A Nov. 27 pretrial was set for Adam J. Blackwood, 23, West Calla Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and failure to control.

A driving under suspension citation against Stephanie J. Eichler, 31, Akron, was dismissed after she stipulated to probable cause. Court documents indicate she had limited privileges at the time of the traffic stop.
A citation of violation of an order of the health department was dismissed against Raean Bagley, 67, and Kimberly Sue Altomare, 46, both of Winona Road, Winona.
