Hazel Ruth Trimble, 86
GEORGETOWN - Hazel Ruth Trimble, 86, of Georgetown, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2012, at Heritage Valley, Beaver with her family at her side. She was the last surviving child born to the late Albert and Idella (Cox) Dean in Junior, W.Va.
She had been employed for 19 years working as a clerk at the Georgetown Post Office. She loved camping and being with her family. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Hookstown American Legion Post No. 952. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to Howard (Dick) Trimble whom she married March 9, 1946; beloved mother of Dave (Karen) Trimble of Georgetown, Debbie (James) Watson of Darlington, Steve (Rhonda) Trimble of Calcutta and Jeff (Essie) Trimble of Racoon Twp.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son Robert Trimble; a brother , Dick Dean; and a sister, Lucille Conley.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Georgetown.
Memorials in her name to Ups of Downs Tri State Group, P.O. Box 392, Wellsville, would be greatly appreciated by her family.
