Dale Dennison, Prospect Street, reported at 11:36 a.m. Friday he had been living with a woman, but was now in the process of moving out. He went to get his drum set and she told him she gave it to someone else. She went to talk to the boys mother, who said he sold them. The Pearl drums are valued at about $1,500.
Richard Parrish, Maple Street Extension, reported at 12:26 p.m. Friday he was trying to move out the last of his things, when another man came home and hit him. Police waited while Parrish moved his items outside and then told him not to go back inside.
A woman reported at 5:34 p.m. Saturday a red Jeep parked across the street from her apartment on North Beaver Street. She told police she saw smoke. Police arrived to see a woman throw a tire iron at the Jeep. Police told the woman to go back to her apartment and saw a red mark on her neck. They asked the man next to the Jeep, David Crowe, what happened and he claimed he got into an argument with his girlfriend and grabbed her around the neck because she was driving him crazy. Crowe, no address listed on the report, was charged with domestic violence.
Luann Duffy, East Chestnut Street, reported at 2:43 a.m. Sunday her brother broke in the door of her bedroom. She claimed he told her to be back from the store in 20 minutes and became angry with her. The brother, Shawn Detwiller, told police the house is in his name and he wanted her out. Police explained he will have to evict her.
A woman reported someone sleeping in a brown Blazer in the Save A Lot parking lot at 2:56 a.m. Sunday. Police spoke to the man, who was tired and did not want to drive.
Amy Dyke, East Pine Street, reported at 2:11 p.m. Sunday her boyfriend was sitting in her driveway unloading supplies and she wanted nothing to do with him.
Smith Oil reported at 2:30 p.m. Sunday someone drove away without paying for $32 in kerosene. The person was described as a young man with brown hair driving a blue Ford F-150.
