Anna L. Price, Louise Street, reported someone used her debit information to make several travel and hotel transactions.
Rick Dawson of Boyce Methodist Church reported four cell phones stolen during a youth group meeting, and said also discovered missing were a Polaroid tablet and a DVD player.
Anna M. Stevens, address not listed, reported dropping off her son at the grandmother's house and, upon returning, being confronted by the child's father. She said he slammed her car door and punched the driver's side mirror.
Responding to a report of a vehicle parked over the curb with its rear-end sticking into the roadway on West Eighth Street, an officer called for a tow truck then said a vehicle pulled in at a high rate of speed. He reported Melinda Clark, no address listed, said she had just run out of gas, but the officer pointed out the car's license had expired so she could not drive it. He reported Clark's grandmother called him unreasonable during the conversation over which tow service was called. He found Clark had an outstanding warrant and, although he attempted to let her pay the bond, was advised by the county sheriff's office not to do so, and a deputy was sent to pick her up and transport her to county jail.
After seeing a van leave a known drug location, an officer pulled it over and was given consent to search, but nothing was found inside.
Judith Williams reported being at a yard sale on Minerva Street when a woman she knows walked up, said, This is what you get for hitting my daughter, and punched Williams in the face four times, knocked her to the ground, kneed her in the face twice, causing her nose to bleed. She was advised how to file charges with the law director.
Paige Laughlin, 19, Dresden Avenue, reported her ex-room mate wanted his belongings and came to the house, grabbed her by the neck, shoved, punched and screamed at her, tearing her shirt. During this altercation, the man reportedly kicked an 11-month-old child in the head while it was sitting on the floor. He then told Laughlin, See what you made me do, grabbed his belongings and fled. She and the child's mother were advised to see the law director about filing charges.
