Tops 1390
EAST LIVERPOOL - TOPS 1390 met on Oct. 2, 2012. Dee Kiger gave the TOPS and KOPS pledges. There were 22 members weigh in, at the First Free Methodist church on St. Clair Avenue.
Best losers this week were Wanda Price and Sharron Wolfe. The no-no food is candy and ice cream. Runner-up, Judy Buzzard.
Food Chart:
50/50: Marguerite Nedreberg $8.50
Monthly best loser: Robin Rice, with runner ups being Nedreberg and Buzzard.
Program: Kiger gave a test on things in food.
Buddies coming back with a lose: Sharon Wolfe and Midred Elliott.
New buddies: Sharron Wolfe and Bonnie Dray, Linda Sirianni and Kiger, Elliott and Rice, Carol Wright, Vesta Ferlaino and Wilma Selmon.
No missing meeting for three months was Elliott, May Kinemond, Rice, Wright.
Arlene Shuman and Florence Smith got the $3.25.
Tops 1957
WELLSVILLE - Tops No. 1957 of Wellsville, met at the Nazarene Church with 30 members in attendance.
The meeting was opened by leader Connie Hissam who led the Tops/Kops pledges, roll call and then prayer was led by Dee Davis. Weight recorders Peggy Imburgia and Lisa Ceneviva gave the weekly weight loss report for the week.
Donna Lee was the Tops best loser of the week and she also wore the officer's ribbon. Verla Betteridge had 6 weeks with no weight gain and Diane Carnegie won the calorie chart drawing. Terry Coen was the best loser for the month of Sept. and received a charm and two weeks dues paid.
The no no's for the week are doughnuts.
Perfect attendance for the last three months was Coen, Davis, Alice Eckstein, Imburgia, Norma Rodgers and Lee.
Erla Arbaugh celebrated her birthday with a card shower.
The 50 50 drawing and the dimes was won by Lee.
Hissam brought in poster board and supplies to design a poster for the Fall Rally and then the group will vote on the one they want to be submitted.
Hissam announced the new contest which is a personal contest. Each member was given a card and each week will have to eliminate a food item that gives them trouble or do something that they don't like to do such as exercise. It will begin tonight and run through Nov. 6th.
Donna Hawksworth gave a program entitled "Udder Chaos and Milk Substitutes".
Hissam closed the meeting with wishing all members a good week and the group holding hands and singing the more we get together.
