Salvatore Licata, of Newell: Pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Fined $50 and assessed court costs. Ordered to pay restitution.

Derek Cross, of Bellaire, Ohio: Pleaded guilty to fleeing on foot. Sentenced to three days in jail. Fined $100 and assessed court costs. Pleaded guilty to public intoxication. Fined $50 and assessed court costs.

Russell Whittaker, of Mount Pleasant, Ohio: Pleaded guilty to three counts of destruction of property. Sentenced to nine days in jail on each count. Assessed $160.80 in court costs on each and ordered to pay $700 in restitution. Pleaded guilty to domestic battery. Sentenced to one year in jail, converted to one year home confinement with work release. Assessed $160.80 in court costs and home confinement fees. Pleaded guilty to assault. Sentenced to nine days in jail. Assessed $160.80 in court costs. Charges of obstructing an officer (two counts) and public intoxication dismissed at prosecutor's request.

John Pulice Jr., of Weirton: Charge of disorderly conduct dismissed at prosecutor's request.

Sept. 19

Earl McAbee, of Weirton: Pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order (two counts). Sentenced to six months in jail with six months suspended. Must serve 24 hours' jail time. Placed on six months' unsupervised probation to run consecutively. Fined $250 on each count. Assessed court costs and a $35 probation fee. Charges of stalking and violating a protective order dismissed at prosecutor's request.
