Sept. 15

12:00 p.m. - Lori Duck came to the station to report damage to her 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Duck said she was at the VFW post, 359 Main St., when Ryan Marcin and Ashley Jackson entered the establishment and began arguing with her. She said Marcin then left, but she saw him outside near where her vehicle was parked. The next morning, Duck says she discovered two gashes cut in the spare tire of her Jeep.

2:20 p.m. - No charges were filed after a 2000 Dodge Dakota driven by John E. Smith, 41, 17660 McCormick Run Road, Salineville, backed into the front of a 2005 Hyundai driven by Barbara J. Burton, 47, 311 First St., Wellsville, while both were in the drive-thru lane at Kwik King Mini Mart, 300 Main St.

Sept. 20

11:03 a.m. - Officers were dispatched to Garfield Elementary School for a stolen vehicle. Portia Cogar of 14th Street, an employee of the school, said she parked her 1997 Buick LeSabre at the corner of 16th Street and Lincoln Avenue at 8:45 a.m. Cogar told police she saw a suspicious-looking person near the car at approximately 10:30 a.m., and noticed it gone after coming outside to check on it shortly after 11 a.m.
