Members of the Wellsville Revitalization Committee are hoping for the safe return of a fish that was stolen from this bronze statue on the boardwalk overlooking Yellow Creek in Wellsville. The statue, which was purchased by the committee at a cost of $4,200, came with a small fish at the end of the little boy’s fishing line.The statue was placed on the boardwalk Sept. 14, the day before a ceremony dedicating the recently-completed floodwall mural.
