East Liverpool Police Reports 9-26

Brandi L. Hissom, Homestead Avenue, was charged with possession of marijuana and open container after officers reported seeing her leave a known drug house on North Street. Her vehicle was pulled over and she gave consent to search it. Inside, officers reported finding marijuana in small buds on the back floorboards and a cup of alcoholic beverage in the cup holder. The St. Clair Township K-9 unit also searched the vehicle to determine if there were other drugs inside, but none were found.

Robert Flowers, 44, Eutaw Avenue, was cited Monday night with OVI and willful/wanton disregard for safety after his vehicle crashed while northbound on state Route 11. According to reports, Flowers lost control of the vehicle underneath the Newell Bridge, striking a guardrail then continuing north on the highway, weaving between lanes and striking another guardrail before shooting across lanes of traffic, going off the road and striking an embankment. His vehicle came to rest 25 feet up the embankment. He was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital by Tri-County ambulance.

While backing a truck into a driveway on Thompson Avenue, Robert K. Johnston, 37, state Route 518, Lisbon, when he struck a utility pole, cracking it and pulling cable and phone lines loose from houses. The truck was owned by D.W. Dickey & Sons of Lisbon.

Jada C. Pack, 26, Erie Street, was cited for driving under suspension and failure to control after she lost control of her vehicle while eastbound on Pennsylvania Avenue. Her vehicle went across the center line and traveled over Minnesota Avenue, striking a utility pole, causing severe damage to the pole.
