A woman reported at 11:04 p.m. Thursday a man with white long hair wearing shorts and a white jersey with a number on the back of it was staggering onto Beaver Street and then back onto the sidewalk. Police found him, checked to make sure he had no warrants and gave him a ride home.
The county sheriff's department reported at 12:02 a.m. Friday receiving a call from a George Mort regarding some type of domestic at 132 W. Chestnut St. At 12:20 a.m., Mort allegedly called KLG requesting an ambulance for a woman at the same address. Police found the woman did not want an ambulance. After speaking to the woman, police Sgt. John Hancock went to find Michael P. Schneller, 28, Saltwell Road, Lisbon. Schneller was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after he allegedly struck Mary Shaulis in the nose, pushed her and cut her wrist. Then later he aggressively threw off his glasses and came toward Hancock.
Brian Lewis, 36, state Route 45, Lisbon, was charged with assault on Thursday after he allegedly pushed Carolyn Blymiller into a pickup truck and pulled her hair.
