David M. Dee, 48, Patriot Lane, New Waterford, was sentenced Monday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to 15 days in jail with credit for two. Dee pleaded guilty in July to domestic violence.
Court documents state Dee was charged for throwing his wife onto both the living room and kitchen floor and attempting to choke her when she refused to give him the keys to one of their vehicles on last Dec. 4.
The jail sentence is to be served consecutively with the sentence in a violating a temporary protection order case in county Municipal Court. Dee was ordered to serve 28 days in that case starting on Sept. 21.
