Kenneth Charles Knowles, 73
PANAMA CITY, Fla. - Kenneth Charles Knowles, 73, of Panama City, Fla. passed away Sept. 15, 2012, at home surrounded by family and attended to by Covenant Hospice.
He was born Jan. 17, 1939, in East Liverpool. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School and played end position for the 1955 undefeated season East Liverpool Potters Football. He graduated from Salem School for Drafting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Helen Knowles and sister, Carole Knowles Hager.
He was a devoted husband and loving father.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Lee Knowles; three children, Kenneth Robert Knowles, and wife Sherry; Denise Lynn Knowles Sogn, and Christopher Rene Knowles; six grandchildren, Sara Frances Knowles, Kristin Leigh Knowles, Hollyanne Edna Sogn, Brooke Eileen Sogn, Jamie Paul Owens, Jr. and Andrew Allen Owens; two great-grandchildren; cousin, Kathy and Jerry Duncan of East Liverpool; and a nephew, Steven Hager.
Mr. Knowles will be interred in Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City, Fla.
