The East Liverpool Fire Department battled a three-alarm fire at a vacant house in the 1400 block of Trentvale Street late last night, with assistance from East Liverpool Police, and Lifeteam and Tri-County ambulance crews. Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Kreefer said the house was fully involved when they arrived at the scene shortly after 10 p.m., and that firefighters were mainly attempting to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding trees.
