EAST PALESTINE -Robert D. Holzer Sr., 89, formerly of East Taggart Street, passed away 2:55 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Essex 1 of Salem.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Sept. 19 at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, with Robert J. Helbeck of the First Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Glenview Cemetery with military honors provided by the combined units of the American Legion Post No. 31 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 579. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
