September 13, 2012
The Review

Catherine L. Burton, Sprucevale Road, reported she and her son had been in a verbal fight and he threw a sandwich, striking and breaking her laptop computer. She wanted a report on file in case he failed to pay for the damage, so she could sue him in small claims court. Her son told officers he will pay for the damage.

Jennifer Johnston reported her grandmother's purse stolen from her shopping cart at a local store on Dresden Avenue.

Judy Householder, Winston Drive, reported Monday a woman she knows drove into her driveway, yelled at her about being on her property, then turned around, throwing gravel into her yard and onto her vehicle.

Walmart security personnel reported Monday a man pushed a shopping cart containing $156.12 worth of merchandise out the doors without paying for the items. When ordered to stop by a loss prevention officer, the man pushed the buggy at him and ran down Dresden Avenue. A witness reported seeing him come from the woods near McGuffey Drive and enter a vehicle, which went north on Dresden.
