James Slagle, state Route 170, East Palestine, reported at 1:15 p.m. Monday he left home at 7 a.m. and returned at noon to find someone broke his bedroom window by throwing a piece of cement block through the glass.

Ken Krecken of Ohio Edison reported at 10:29 a.m. Monday someone stole a large amount of copper ground wire, copper plate and brass electrical connectors from a substation on state Route 7 in Fairfield Township. The theft of items happened sometime between noon Saturday and Monday morning. The estimated cost of replacing the items taken is about $3,000.

David Turley, Church Hill Road, Lisbon, reported at 12:08 p.m. Monday a 13-year-old boy assaulted his 10-year-old son at a bus stop on Friday afternoon. The older boy reportedly put a dog shock collar on Turley's son's arm and shocked him, as well as another 10-year-old child. Turley had also spoken to the school about the incident.

David Soloman, state Route 45, Salem, reported at 6:29 a.m. Friday he and his ex-girlfriend live at the same home, but sleep separately. He wanted her removed after finding she had removed the air conditioner from the window to get into his bedroom without his permission. Deputies explained the eviction procedure. The ex-girlfriend, Brenna Perkins, reported Soloman became irate when he found her looking for some of her property in his bedroom, picked her up and shoved her to the floor. She signed a refusal to prosecute form. Solomon later called to report $25 missing from his vehicle and he was unable to find his car keys. He called deputies again at 5:30 p.m. Sunday to report someone took his X-Box 360 and controllers.

Tammy Evans, Churchill Road, Lisbon, reported at 8:15 p.m. Sunday she recently kicked a man off her property on Lisbon Road. The bank is about to take possession of the home and about all of the copper piping has been taken out. Evans claimed a neighbor saw the man pulling out of the house on Sunday. However, he claimed he was at his sister's house across the street and had not been on the property since he moved out.

Rebecca Ammon, no address listed, reported a domestic dispute at the home of Michelle Ammon, state Route 7, Lisbon, at 9:37 p.m. Saturday. Michelle Ammon was upset because she and her husband had been arguing and he locked her out of the house. She only wanted her purse so she could leave and began to break down the door, when he became upset and gave her the purse through a window.
