EAST LIVERPOOL - The Triangle Srs. met at 1 p.m. Sept. 5, with president June Mullen opening the meeting. Mullen welcomed everyone there and then called on June McCoy to read scripture. McCoy read Exedus 16-25. The club then said the Lords Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone then sang America and our club song.
Thelma Grossen then gave the secretaries report and it was approved as read. In the absence of Mary Powell no treasurers report was given. Dorothy Poole filled in.
The king and queen were picked for Sept. The queen was Grossen and the king was Ralph Miller. Birthdays for Sept. were Helen Musolowski and Alice Richards.
Mullen called on committee reports. There were 24 members present. Working in the kitchen were Jean Chamberlain, Helen Risbeck and Minnie. The door prize was won by Jana Lawrence and the 50/50 was won by Mullen.
This was the last day to sign up for our anniversary dinner on Sept. 19.
The meeting was adjourned. Thanks in providing the sandwiches by Mary Marks, Ellen Michaels and Marge Tarnovich. Our next meeting will be on Wed. Sept 19, and will be a catered dinner. We will also have entertainment. Bingo followed.
