CHESTER - Gunner Kole Higgins, infant son of Mark S. Higgins Jr. and Karen R. Luke of Chester, died at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012. He was born in Weirton on Aug. 30, 2012.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers: Gage and Hayden Higgins, and a sister: Desarae Luke all at home; maternal grandmother: Estella and Chris Smith of New Britain, Conn.; maternal grandfather: Jay Luke of Newell; paternal grandmother: Tina and Jeff Jackson of Lisbon; and paternal grandfather: Mark S. Higgins Sr. of Newark, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Joe Cilone of United Brethren in Christ Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Wellsville two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
