COLUMBIANA - Call it a knockout by upper cut.
Four-time defending Inter-Tri County League upper tier title-holder showed off its championship pedigree by blowing past Southern Local 63-14 on Friday.
The Rebels (3-0) totaled 477 yards of offense against an Indians team which struggled to keep up with the quick play-calling pace of the home team.

Rebel quarterback Colin Gilbert rushed for 187 yards and four touchdowns, while throwing for another in the blowout. Speedster Nick Blower registered 140 yards and a touchdown as well.
Southern (2-1) was aiming to gain a signature big win, but only startled the Rebels briefly with a Jared Shilot 63-yard touchdown pass from Luke Griffith in the first quarter.
It was all Crestview after that.
"Crestview is a good football team and is a nice group of young men," Southern coach Matt Skrinjar said. "They're strong and physical up front and have lots of speed. The offense is dynamic. We had a little momentum early, but it was tough to hand with them."
Griffith led the Indians with 264 yards passing. He also had a 21-yard touchdown run.
