Scott I. Mathess, 57
TORONTO-Scott I. Mathess, age 57 of Toronto, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his home.
Born Dec. 13, 1954 in East Liverpool, he is the son of the late Charles and Esther Mathess. Scott is a graduate of Wellsville High School and was a member of the North River Avenue Christian Church in Toronto. Scott enjoyed four wheeling and being part of the Sugar Grove Community. Scott, formally of the Teamsters Union, local #92, worked as a truck driver for P I & I Motor Express and most recently B & T Express.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents and his immediate family.
Scott is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mrs. Mary Jane (Lamp) Mathess whom he married August 23, 1992. A daughter, Mrs. Julie Camp and her husband Bill of Wintersville, Ohio; a son Eric Gerkins of Steubenville, Ohio; and a granddaughter Mara Camp also of Wintersville.
Family and friends will gather for memorial visitation on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St. Toronto, Ohio 43964. 740-527-1234/ 855-847-1240
