In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, Chad E. Kellogg, 35, Anderson Avenue, Wellsville, was bound over to the grand jury on a domestic violence charge. Wellsville police allege Kellogg put his hand around his wife's neck, choked her and threatened to kill her on Aug. 15. Bond was set at $50,000.

Robert Halfhill Jr., 30, New Waterford Road, New Waterford, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and fined $200 for criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct. The first disorderly conduct charge was for trying to get into a home on South Lincoln Avenue in Lisbon while intoxicated on Aug. 23. Additionally, on Aug. 25, Halfhill entered a South Lincoln Avenue property after being told previously not to return to the property.

Donald E. Craig Jr., 41, Glasgow Road, Salineville, was fined $150 for violating a temporary protection order for contacting a Salineville woman in an attempt to get her to take him back.

A Sept. 27 pretrial was set for Samson A. Crowl, 28, Cherry Street, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly filling his pockets with $61 in items from Dollar General, East State Street, Salem, before leaving the store on Sunday.

In Columbiana County Municipal Court Tuesday, a Sept. 10 preliminary hearing was set for Robert Stephenson, 76, East Main Street, East Palestine, charged with assault. A pretrial was set the same date for an obstructing official business charge. Stephenson is charged after allegedly striking and shoving East Palestine Patrolman Thomas Wire, after Stephenson was asked to leave several times for interfering with an investigation by yelling and screaming at police on Sunday.

David R. Wales, 23, Greentree Place, Lisbon, was fined $280 and required 60 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.

Belinda M. Jackson, 41, Denver Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and required 20 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Alvin S. Pugh III, 32, Torma Road, Wellsville, was fined $100 for unsafe vehicle amended from assured clear distance.

An Oct. 1 pretrial was set for William P. Bolton, 29, Depot Street, Rogers, charged with resisting arrest, domestic violence and disorderly conduct while intoxicated. Court documents allege Bolton threatened to throw his wife through a wall, threatened to kill both of them and refused to cooperate with deputies called to the home.

An Oct. 1 pretrial was set for Michael W. Eberhardt, 21, Columbia Street, Leetonia, cited with drug paraphernalia for a glass pipe.

An Oct. 2 pretrial was set for David J. Barnhart, 34, South Main Street, Columbiana, charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

An Oct. 2 pretrial was set for Irene M. Thomas, 35, Dillonvale, charged with theft after allegedly taking items from BP Gas Station in Lisbon.

An Oct. 4 pretrial was set for Jeremy Samuel Stanley, 29, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under FRA suspension and speeding.

An Oct. 9 pretrial was set for Joshua Lapin, 23, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Court documents allege Lapin was involved in a disturbance late Friday, pushing and shoving a patron outside the Foxes' Den, where he had earlier been asked to leave.

An Oct. 9 pretrial was set for Justin O. Smith, 28, West State Street, Salem,charged with OVI first offense, driving under FRA suspension, lane violations and a seat belt violation.

An Oct. 9 pretrial was set for Charles D. Green, 46, King Road, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend on Sunday, causing her to be transported to Alliance Community Hospital due to her injuries.

An Oct. 16 pretrial was set for Steven R. Barnes, 31, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, cited with illegal cultivation for allegedly growing marijuana at his home on Aug. 15.
