Dear Editor:
Mr. Applegate got it all wrong. If people don't believe me about Romney's status during the Vietnam war, they may check it themselves. Contact selective service agency, using the Freedom of Information act. After you do, write a letter and tell us what was found out.
As far as asking "how low can you go?" I can go as low as the republicans did when they attacked John Kerry and again when they attacked President Obama. You know, birth place, birth certificate, socialist, Muslim. Have I forgotten any? Oh yes, I forgot African-American. I believe republicans don't dislike this president's policies, instead they dislike the color of skin.
No oil and gas jobs in this county. Please explain, this county's lower unemployment rate. It's auto, and oil and gas related, nothing else. Mr. Newbold stated on WFMJ Youngstown that if he were elected, he'd have 100 jobs here tomorrow . . . we're still waiting.
The EPA was signed into law by Nixon, a republican. Blame him. Remember, "Where are the Jobs?," echoed by every Republican in 2010. Well, "Where are the Jobs?" The house hasn't pushed through one single, clean jobs bill. Every bill they pass comes complete with amendments which they know the Senate and the White House will never agree to.
If that pipeline is so important to Exxon-Mobil, why don't they use the $20 billion that they get from Washington, and build a refinery on the border of the United States and Canada?
The tea party started out with a good idea, but were co-opted by the Koch brothers and Dick Armey.
So in closing, quit watching FOX News and get back on this planet with the rest of us.
