Dolores Straka
TORONTO- Dolores E. Straka, age 84, a homemaker of Toronto, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born April 8, 1928 in Vinton, Ohio the daughter of the late Noah and Mattie Gadd Chasteen.
Mrs. Straka was a member of the Saint Francis of Assi Roman Catholic Church of Toronto and the Catholic Women's Club of the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Straka, sisters; Bessie McGee, Virginia Evano and Edna Pinnell and brothers; Robert and Noah Chasteen.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Straka of Toronto and two grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 4th at the Clarke Funeral Home . A Vigil Service will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
There will be additional visitation Wednesday, September 5th from 9 to 10 a.m. at the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, Findley Street, Toronto where a Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by celebrant Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti. Burial will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery. Toronto American Legion Post # 86 Auxiliary Service 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
