EAST LIVERPOOL - Robert "Scott" Morgan, 50, of East Liverpool, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, in the emergency room at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning, Pa.

He was born June 12, 1962, in East Liverpool, the son of Theresa (Johnson) Morgan-Betz of Wellsville and the late Robert W. Morgan.

Scott graduated from Wellsville High School in 1980. He was employed as a truck driver for R & L Carriers for 20 years. He was a member of the Wellsville Elks Lodge 1040, the Wellsville Sons of Italy, the East Liverpool Moose Lodge 122, and was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. He was Catholic by faith.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Lee (Groholski) Morgan, whom he married Oct. 6, 2006; two daughters: Jennifer Morgan and her fiance Chris Butler of Moon Township, Pa., and Tera Morgan and her companion Blake Kazee of Wellsville; one sister: Tami Mason and her husband Tim of Wellsville; one grandson: Landon Robert Butler; and his step-father Earl Betz. Also surviving is one stepdaughter: Rochelle Groholski and her fiance Paul Guerrini of Vandergrift, Pa.; one stepson: Chaz Groholski and his wife Vanessa of Spring Church, Pa.; and his father-in-law Andy Vida of Vandergrift, Pa.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at the Roberts Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Haladej of the Holy Trinity Parish officiating.

Friends may call from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville.
