NEW CARROLLTON, Md. - Lula Mae Beal, 56, of New Carrollton, Md., formerly of Wellsville, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Georgetown University Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20, 1955, in Fosters, Ala., the daughter of Nellie Ruth (Beal) Huff of Wellsville and the late George Huff.
Lula graduated from Wellsville High School in 1974. She was employed for the Marketing Research Company as a marketing representative.

Survivors include one daughter: Mercedes Beal of Wellsville; two sons: Anthony Beal and Gary Tisdale both of Toledo; 12 sisters: Flora Wingo of Columbus, Carla Matthews of Akron, Georgeann Huff of Philadelphia, Pa., Gladys Huff of Columbus, Arnetta Beal of Gary, Ind., Georgiana Young of Dayton, Vanessa Patrick of Chesterfield, Va., Francine Young of Dayton, Cora Beal of Lisbon, Janet Milner of Columbus, Yvonne Harris of Steubenville, and Gwen Huff of Green Belt, Md.; nine brothers: Harvey McSwain of Ft. Washington, Md., Dallas Beal of Wellsville, Jack Beal of Chicago, Ill., Joe Beal of Chicago, Ill., Chester Beal of Phoenix, Ariz., Jerry Beal of Lincoln, Neb., George Huff of Columbus, Nathan Huff of Steubenville, and Tony Chester of Steubenville. Lula is also survived by her fiancee: Ivan Davis of New Carrollton, Md., as well as 12 grandchildren: Iman Sims, Ny-jai Beal, Tyshuan Franklin, Cameron Hill, Kylynn Beal, Jeremiah Beal, Christian Tisdale, Nautica Beal, Michaela Sims, Brandon Beal, Anthony Beal, Jr., and Jaxson Beal. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Lee's Chapel AME Church, 1325 Center St. in Wellsville, with the Rev. Eddie Renfroe of the church officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to the service.
The Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St., Wellsville, is in charge of arrangements.
