Blanche Cole
EAST LIVERPOOL Blanche "Ellen" Cole, 87, of Lisbon Street, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at 6:36 a.m. at the East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born in Wheeling, W.Va. on September 13, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Anna Kederly Jewell. Mrs. Cole was a graduate of Triadelphia High School and was a switchboard operator for the C & P Telephone Co. at one time.

Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Starkey, of Glenmoor, and two sons, Frank A. Cole, Jr., of Wintersville, and Wayne A. Cole, of Lisbon. There are 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Ethel Wise and June Bane, both of Wheeling, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank A. Cole, Sr.
Her two brothers, Robert and Harry Lee Jewell, also preceded her in death.
Friends may visit Tuesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Rev. Merrill Williams of the First Church of the Nazarene will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
