EAST LIVERPOOL - The East Liverpool Pony League 14-year-old baseball team defeated Columbiana, 8-6, Tuesday. East Liverpool is now 3-4 on the season. Tyler Cunningham picked up the win for East Liverpool. Miek Oats came on in relief. Offensively, Oats tallied three singles, Aaron Bombich belted two singles and Shane Talbott and Cunning each collected a base hit. East Liverpool plays today against Jackson-Milton.

BLHS Hall of fame dinner being held in June
CALCUTTA - The Beaver Local High School Alumni Association will hold its inaugural Hall of Fame dinner 6-9 p.m. June 2 at the high school. The Alumni Association will induct two alumni into the Hall of Fame this year, and will also be honoring the classes of 1962 and 1987.
