East Liverpool Police Reports for 4-24

Police charged Kyle R. Thorn, 26, Third Street, with robbery Friday night after they were called to the Bradshaw Avenue Giant Eagle for a shoplifter being detained by store employees. They arrived to find Thorn being held down on a bench in the foyer with two bags of candy lying on the floor nearby. While patting down Thorn, officers reported he told them about a knife in his pocket and a box cutter-type knife was found.

Joshua J. Morris-Revelant, 24, West Fourth Street, was charged Saturday with domestic violence after his live-in girlfriend reported he punched her in the chest and tried to hit her with a television. His girlfriend, Heather Collins, is deaf and had to be taken to the police station where she wrote down her account of what occurred, according to reports. Morris-Revelant was located in her apartment but denied hitting her. Collins' injuries were photographed by a female dispatcher.

Jeffrey W. Parker, 40, Canton, was charged with disorderly conduct/intoxication Sunday morning after police were called to a disturbance on Maple Street and reported finding him standing in the street, intoxicated. Parker reportedly told officers he confronted Kenny Taylor over money he was owed and Taylor threatened him with a baseball bat. Taylor told police Parker was kicking his door and refused to leave. While interviewing the men, officers reported Parker was loud, profane and uncooperative and told them he would return and kill Taylor if they did not arrest him.

Shane R. Hart, 19, Maple Hill Road, Salineville, and Aaron M. B. Edison, 21, Wooster Street, were charged Sunday morning with intoxication after officers were called to the playground on Ohio Avenue for two intoxicated men trying to get into cars. Officers reported finding them staggering in the area.
