EAST LIVERPOOL - Thomas Vaughn, 61, of Erie Street died at 5:23 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in East Liverpool, June 8, 1950, a son of the late Ruth and James Vaughn Sr., he was a lifetime area resident.
He had been employed at C&K Industries in Burgettstown, Pa., and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Surviving is a son, Lance M. Vaughn, of Butler, Pa.
Also surviving are two sisters, Barbara Barto of Wellsville and Judy Burns and her husband, Ronald, of Newton Falls, Ohio; and two brothers, James Vaughn Jr., of East Liverpool and Jerry Vaughn and his wife, Regina, of Alliance, Ohio.
The Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
