Columbiana County Sheriff Reports for 9-10

Angela Eglie, Mountz Road, Homeworth, reported at 1:23 p.m. Friday that between Aug. 12 and 14 she had her vehicle serviced in Alliance and while it was there her personal papers in the vehicle were ransacked. Since that time, she has received a cell phone bill with calls on it from out of the country. She has also received numerous calls from loan companies wanting her to sign for loans she did not apply for. On Friday, her credit union contacted her regarding several overdraft fees.

Chester Duvall, state Route 9, Kensington, reported at 12:34 p.m. Friday his mailbox was broken off sometime overnight and found laying in his yard.

Johna Wilson, Hartley Road, Alliance, reported at 1:20 p.m. Friday her daughter is being harassed on Facebook. The incident was later found to have occurred in Alliance and Wilson was told to contact the police there.

Jason Fitzsimmons, Woodville Road, Leetonia, reported at 9:21 a.m. Friday his wife is attempting to move her belongings out of the house and was throwing things around. Both claimed there was no threats or physical violence. He decided to leave until his wife and her father could finish gathering her belongings.

Melissa Thomas, Lake Street, Beloit, reported at 10:18 a.m. Tuesday her neighbor accused her of moving a survey stake and called her vulgar names. Deputies spoke to the neighbor, who claimed when she went to talk to Thomas about it, she saw the survey stake laying on the porch. They then argued.

Misty Goodwin, Kevin Drive, Alliance, reported at 1:25 a.m. Friday she had been assaulted by the father of her child, who had punched her in the head several times. Deputies found three large bumps on Goodwin's head and she was treated by first responders. Michael McMahon, Kevin Drive, was found walking on U.S. Route 62 and charged with domestic violence.

Mike Marshall, Plymouth Street, Hanoverton, reported at 4:12 p.m. Thursday that after going to court that day he received a call from a couple who he said threatened to take away his visitation with his children. They also reportedly came to his home and told him not to get out of his vehicle when he picks the children up and tore up his front yard with a truck when they left.

Erica Kaurich, Case Road, Beloit, reported at 10:23 p.m. Thursday her ex-boyfriend was there beating on the door and threatening to have her arrested. He reportedly called her 60 times on Thursday.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at a U.S. Route 30, Minerva, address at 3:18 p.m. Thursday where a mother and daughter were arguing. The daughter, Kylie Streblo, claimed her mother, Vicki Lynch, had punched her in the chest, slapped her across the face and threatened to kill her. The mother admitted she had slapped her daughter, but reported the daughter had turned up the music very loud with her baby in the room, threatened to kill her mother and beat her. Written statements were taken from both people and the daughter left for the evening.

Jason Fitzsimons, Woodville Road, Leetonia, reported 8:02 p.m. Thursday he and his wife argued and he was taking a sign off the door of his stepdaughter's room when his wife grabbed his arm. The wife told deputies she had reached for the sign and her hand hit his arm, but she did not grab him.

Carol Vandyke, state Route 45, Wellsville, reported at 8:44 p.m. Thursday a woman had come to her house and took a car belonging to her boyfriend, which was at the house for three days. Vandyke told deputies when the other woman left she nearly struck Vandyke's grandson and she threw a rock at the house. The other woman, Tammy Kent, reported the grandson had struck her in the head.
