EAST LIVERPOOL - Lifetime area resident Victoria E. Fisher, formerly of Wood Alley in East Liverpool, passed away at 10:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Nentwick Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was 97.
Born in East Liverpool on Feb. 7, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida Haught Lambright.
A 1930 graduate of East Liverpool High School, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in East Liverpool and had been treasurer there for 65 years.
She had been employed at Craven Parts Service for many years.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Denver Fisher, whom she married in 1954.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith Dyke and her husband, Charles, of East Liverpool; her son, Norman Stern and his wife, Patricia, of Chillicothe, Ohio; and a sister, Inez Kirkham of East Liverpool.
There are six grandchildren: Norman Stern Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Leipsic, Ohio; Dan Stern and his wife, Tami, of Chillicothe; Darren Crawford and his wife, Laura, of Yorkville, Ill.; Cassandra Bloor and her husband, Shawn, of Wellsville; Lorene Smallridge and her husband, Robert, of East Liverpool; and Brian Dyke and his wife, Maureen, of Oldsmar, Fla.
There are also seven great-grandchildren: Kendra Stern, Dan Stern Jr., Marie Keller, Seth Bloor, Victoria and Alexandra Crawford, and Jillian Smallridge, as well as four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roy Nelson officiating.
Burial will take place at the Calcutta United Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
