HANOVERTON - Rob and Debbie Higgins-Shafer of Hanoverton announce the birth of their son, Toran Douglas Shafer, December 14, 2009, at Alliance Community Hospital. Toran weighed 10 pounds 14.9 ounces and was 21.75 inches long. He is joined by two sisters, Leeandrea Marie and Kalyndra Ruth, and three brothers, Javin Kenneth, Braydin Daniel, and Kelson Edward.
Grandparents are John R. Higgins Sr., of Hanoverton (formerly of East Liverpool), and the late Charmaine M. Higgins, Roland D. Shafer of Wellsville, and the late Joyce E. Shafer.
Great-grandmother is Nancy Bea Duffield.
