Oak Glen boys

NEW MANCHESTER - Jason Ford, Jake Ford and Kyle Woodruff each scored 12 points as the Oak Glen 8th-grade boys defeated visiting Stanton 60-7 on Wednesday.

David McGraw added 10 points for the Bears.

In 7th-grade play, Oak Glen won 49-10 as Justin Adams scored 14 and Brennan Smith added 12.

Oak Glen plays Monday at Weir.

Wellsville-Southern boys

SALINEVILLE - Jordan Sloan scored 15 points as the Wellsville 8th-grade boys won 57-32 Wednesday at Southern.

Also for the 10-0 Tigers, Nate Scott scored 11. For Southern, Clayton Cunningham scored 14.

In 7th-grade, Wellsville (5-5) won 31-20 as Zack Mellott scored 13 and Alex Potts added nine. Last week, Wellsville dropped a pair of games - 41-20 to Leetonia as Mellott and Chase Hillard each scored five, and 30-19 at United as Devon Smith scored five.

Wellsville plays Wednesday at home against Lisbon.

East Liverpool boys

EAST LIVERPOOL -Queysean Sallis scored 15 points as the East Liverpool 8th-grade defeated visiting Steubenville Harding 55-40 at Westgate Gymnasium.

John Rickerd and D.J. Austin each added 10 points for the Potters, now 7-1, who play noon Saturday at Salem.

In 7th-grade play, Harding won 58-36. East Liverpool is now 8-1.

Both Potter teams play Monday at Indian Creek.

Oak Glen girls

HIGHLANDTOWN - Vanessa Hissam scored 15 points and Karly Wiley added 10 as the Oak Glen 8th-grade girls (6-4) won 35-16 Wednesday at Stanton.

In 7th-grade play, Oak Glen (7-3) won 15-7 as Jessica Stivason scored six and Kaitlyn Herstein added five.

Oak Glen plays Monday at home against Weir.

Wellsville girls

WELLSVILLE - Brittney Clendenning scored 13 points and Domenica Cartwright had 11 as the Wellsville 8th-grade girls won 48-5 Wednesday at home against visiting Southern.

Shelby Zohora and Kallee Powell each added eight points for the 7-3 Tigers.

In 7th-grade play, Angelica Scarabino had 19 points as Wellsville won 40-4. Also for the Tigers (5-5), Cheyenne Corbin had seven points, while Sabrina Thompson and Codie Jackson each added six.

Wellsville plays Wednesday at Lisbon.

Lisbon girls

LISBON - Elle Smith and Mackenzie Gatchall each scored 12 as the United 8th-grade girls won 57-14 Wednesday at Lisbon.

For Lisbon, Jenna Dickson scored six points.

In 7th-grade play, United won 41-20 as Mackenzie Firth scored 14.

The Blue Devils play Monday at home against Leetonia.

STEUBENVILLE - Nikayla Edgell scored 10 points and Mavis Davis had six as the East Liverpool 7th-grade won 26-23 at Steubenville Harding.

In 8th-grade play, Harding won 34-20. For the Potters, Kiara Cowart scored 13.

The Potters play Indian Creek Monday at home.
