Kathleen Willison Fisher, 83

WINDER, Ga. - Kathleen Willison Fisher, 83, formerly of Sunnyside Avenue, East Liverpool, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at the Winder Health Care & Rehab Center in Winder, Ga.

Born in East Liverpool, Dec. 2, 1926, a daughter of the late Herman Willison and Julia Petty Willison Brooks, she lived most of her life in this area. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Liverpool, where she was active in the church's senior group and the Amoma Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Fisher, whom she married July 27, 1946. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Palmer, and five brothers, Everett, Dale, Dana, Traverse and Major Brooks.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Wolfe, and her husband Richard, of Braselton, Ga.; and a son, Howard R. Fisher of Anniston, Ala. There are four grandchildren, Steven and Yanni Fisher, Angela Wolfe and Julie Wolfe; along with three great-grandchildren, Nathanial Fisher, Trista and McKenzie Fisher; and a future great-granddaughter.

In addition, she is survived by a sister, Esther Armstrong of Chester.

Friends may call Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Rev. James Beach will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
