Columbiana County Sheriff for 12-30
Deputies responded at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday to a residence on state Route 14, East Palestine where an argument between a man and a woman turned physical. She slapped the man in the face and he kicked her. There were no signs of injury and both signed a refusal to prosecute.
A woman on Metz Road, New Waterford reported at 2:43 p.m. Monday that sometime on Saturday afternoon, someone entered the residence and stole a Fender guitar.
Deputies responded at 10:45 a.m. Monday to Act I, a group home facility on Union Ridge Road in Rogers, where a juvenile from Cuyahoga County was out of control and breaking windows. The personnel said he went outside and they didn't know where he was. They received a call from Pancake Auto Body on state Route 170 and learned the juvenile was there. A deputy spoke to the juvenile and noticed he had several superficial cuts on his arm where he tried to hurt himself. He was taken back to Act I where an ambulance was waiting and transported him to Akron Children's Hospital.
