EAST LIVERPOOL - Helen T. Kinney, 72, of Center Street, East Liverpool, died at her home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, following a lengthy illness. She was born in East Liverpool on March 27, 1937, and was a daughter of the late Charles Abram and Irene Theresa (Morris) Davis.
Living her entire life in this area, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Kinney whom she married on June 12, 1959; two daughters: Theresa Savin and her husband Steve of East Liverpool and Debbie Pinkerton of East Liverpool; one sister: Marian Conley of Troy, Texas; and two granddaughters: Desiree Pinkerton and Ciara Savin.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: William Davis and Ronald Davis and one sister: Kate Smith.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Norman Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
