EAST LIVERPOOL - Moose Lodge will resume bingo Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m., early bird at 6:30, and regular, with a 55 and under $1,000 coverall, at 7. A full kitchen menu available.
WELLSVILLE - The Masons of Wellsville are serving breakfast 7-10 a.m. every Saturday at the Temple on Main Street.
HIGHLANDTOWN - And all-you-can-eat breakfast will be served 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Inverness Fellowship Hall. Donation requested.
CALCUTTA - The East End Seniors are sponsoring a day bus trip Dec. 12 to the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh. The bus will leave near Calcutta Giant Eagle at 10:30 p.m. and return that evening at about 7:30 p.m. Cost is $23 with $20 given in slot play and $5 in food coupons. WELLSVILLE - The Covenant Presbyterian Church, 401 18th St., will have its monthly spaghetti dinner 4-6 p.m. today. The menu is spaghetti, sausage or meatballs, salad, desert and drink. CALCUTTA - Boy Scout Troop 41 is seeking donations to fill Christmas stockings. The stockings will be given to the Salvation Army to distribute to families in need this holiday season. Toys, stockings, hygiene products, hats and gloves needed. Items can be dropped off 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Calcutta Walmart, where scouts will be bell ringers, or contact the Troop at 330-385-7840.
GLENMOOR - The Glenmoor American Legion will have breakfast 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. Cost is $3.50 per person.
SALINEVILLE - The Southern Local High School Student Council is sponsoring a Toys for Tots collection through Dec.14. Students and community members are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys for distribution for Christmas gifts. Toys can be dropped off 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at the high school office or at the Dec. 7-8 home basketball games.
The school also is participating in the Salvation Army Kettle Project. Community members will have the opportunity to purchase a paper kettle for $1 and hang it on the front window of the school. Kettles available Dec. 7-8 at the home basketball games. All money donated will go to the Salvation Army to help local families over the holidays.
CALCUTTA - Dinner with Santa will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Bob Evans in Calcutta. There will be games, face painting, cookie decorating and meet Bob Evans' own "Biscuit and Gravy" who will help kids write their letter for Santa. Bring a camera.
