EAST LIVERPOOL - Glenn G. Beagle, 59, of St. John Street, died unexpectedly at home Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009.
Born in Marietta, Ohio, on May 21, 1950, he was a son of Ella Rea Beagle of East Liverpool and the late Glenn W. Beagle.
He had been employed at Hall China Company for 13 years. He worked for the last three years at Marsh-Bellofram until retiring in April of this year.
He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jane Allison Beagle, at home, whom he married Oct. 30, 1970.
He will be sadly missed and remembered by two daughters, Gayle Beagle Blystone of East Liverpool and Sara Beagle Miller of East Liverpool; and two sons, Glenn C. Beagle and his wife, Janelle, of East Liverpool, and Pete Beagle of East Liverpool.
There are 11 grandchildren, Jason Blystone, Hayley Blystone, Lexi Beagle, Hollie Blystone, Karlee Miller, Jacob Blystone, Zach Beagle, Lucas Beagle, Kyley Miller, Layne Beagle and Braylon Beagle.
Four sisters surviving are Vera Groves and her husband, Buck, of Chester; Navella "Sis" Howard of East Liverpool; Lorretta "Ret" Bayless of Temple Terrace, Fla.; and Marcella Martin of Charlotte, N.C.
Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening where the family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Leonard "Buck" Groves, brother-in-law and minister of the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Highlandtown, will conduct a funeral service at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
