EAST LIVERPOOL - Donald R. Butler, 75, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Ext., East Liverpool, Ohio died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born in Monroe County, Ohio on Sept. 9, 1934 and was the son of the late Clyde and Eva (Hickman-Workman) Butler. Mr. Butler worked as a laborer in a lumber yard.

He is survived by a daughter, Eva Shields of East Liverpool; two brothers, James Butler of Lisbon, Ohio and Dale Butler of East Liverpool; two sisters, Ruth Wiseman of East Liverpool and Alice Riffle of Elkins, W.Va.; and two grandchildren

Besides his parents, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
