Columbiana County Sheriff for 11-25
Erica Holshue, state Route 45, Lisbon, reported at 3:11 a.m. Saturday that her boyfriend had picked her up from work; they went to a friend's house and returned to find her vehicle was parked in a different spot, and someone had wrecked it. A deputy noted significant front end damage to the vehicle. Holshue said she had no idea who could have wrecked her vehicle.
Edna Dillinger, Depot Road, Lisbon, reported at 12:30 p.m. Saturday that someone had entered her home and had stolen between $1,800 and $2,000 in rolled quarters from her home. There were no signs of forced entry.
Terry McElroy, Hamilton Road, East Palestine, reported at 6:09 p.m. Thursday that someone had entered his home and had stolen money, jewelry, a camera and a safe.
An employee of DP Fuel, state Route 7, New Waterford, reported at 3:42 p.m. Saturday that a woman she knows came into the business, started screaming and took a swing at her but missed because there was a counter between them. The employee said the woman told her she would be back that night to kill her. She said the woman made a mess in the store, but the employee had cleaned it up before the deputy arrived.
