East Liverpool Police Reports for 11-25

On Sunday at 6:54 a.m., some employees of Maxi's Lunch Box along Harvey Avenue reported someone broke into the front door of the business and stole a cash register.

On Sunday at 4:27 p.m., officers responded to a breaking and entering at the Carolex Co. at 2000 Harvey Ave. Officers checked the interior of the building with employees and found someone entered through a rear window of the building. Nothing was reported stolen, but several desk drawers were forced open and an office window was broken.

On Sunday at 7:53 p.m., John Douglas, 46, of 523 Mulberry St., advised someone broke one of his basement windows.

On Monday at 1:52 a.m., Keith Conto, 48, of 585 Williams Ave., reported he was sitting on his porch at 4:30 a.m. waiting on a ride when he noticed interior lights from inside a vehicle up the street. He stated two white males were going from vehicle to vehicle, and one white male described as 5-foot-10-inches tall and wearing a coat and mustard colored hoodie entered his vehicle. The other white male was wearing dark pants and a dark hoodie. After Conto confronted the suspect near his vehicle, both men fled toward Surry Road.

On Monday at 8:04 a.m., Kerry A. Bell, 33, of 834 Riverview St., advised someone entered her vehicle and removed several items including her purse, wallet, school books, cash and CDs.

On Monday at 8:21 a.m., a female called to report her boyfriend's unlocked Ford Explorer was entered and items stolen while it was parked at the rear of 820 Oak St. A chainsaw and other items were taken. The vehicle is owned by Joseph H. Garcia II, 29.

On Monday at 8:37 a.m., Jason Moore reported vehicles were entered and items removed along a portion of Surry Road.

On Monday at 11:13 a.m., Patricia J. Altomare, 52, told officers someone spray painted graffiti on some of her Avondale Street rental property.

On Monday at 11:31 a.m., Dawnyelle E. Dennis, 28, walked to the police station and reported her Playstation 3 game unit was stolen from her residence on Nov. 21. She told officers she let James Cox stay with her for about a week because he was homeless. Cox was reportedly seen removing the items.

On Monday at 1:33 p.m., Wade A. Lovett, 27, of 418 Grant St., advised that someone stole $50 while visiting his home on Nov. 20.

On Monday at 1:55 p.m., Jacqueline T. Bailey, 45, of 135 Surry Road, reported someone entered her vehicle and removed several items.

On Monday at 2:43 p.m., Bobbie J. Riley, 41, of 706 Morton St., told officers that while her vehicle was parked in front of her residence within the last week, someone ransacked the vehicle and stole miscellaneous items and some change.

On Monday at 2:49 p.m., Edward V. Swanson III, 29, reported while he was at work, someone took an item from his home while he was living at 901 May St.
