EAST LIVERPOOL POLICE FOR 11-22
Nov. 21
At 12:57 p.m. Melissa A. Sessie, 27, of 803 Dresden Ave. reported that between 11:30 a.m. and noon, an unknown person slashed the drivers side tire and damaged the side mirror of her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.
At 3:37 p.m. officers responded to a report of a large group of people fighting at 1723 Wooster St. Upon arrival, the officers heard people running in the wooded area nearby and observed a vehicle whose driver appeared to be searching for something. Officers then heard a person inside the vehicle say, "Meet me at the bottom of the hill." The officers stopped the vehicle and William Barrett was identified as the driver and his brother Justin Barrett, 25, was identified as the passenger. Officers quickly determined that Justin Barrett was intoxicated and had run from 1723 Wooster St. to his own home, where he asked his brother to drive around and look for another person who had fled the residence. Barrett told the officers that he had come to the residence to fight those who he claimed had assaulted him earlier. He refused to calm down or leave the scene and the officers arrested him on charges of intoxication. Barrett later calmed down and was released to his brother.
