Martin Steele Jr., 24, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, was driving south at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 267 in Madison Township when his vehicle went off the right edge of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. He was transported by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital with serious injuries.
William Show, 29, Oak Grove Road, Salineville, was cited for OVI, hit-skip, reasonable control and assured clear distance ahead following a pair of accidents Tuesday afternoon. Show was driving west at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township when his vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Dominique Lewis, 29, McCormick Run Road, Salineville, after which Show fled the scene in his vehicle. At 1:50 p.m., he lost control of his westbound vehicle on state Route 39 in Washington Township and it went off the right edge of the roadway, struck a culvert, overturned, struck a house and came to a rest on its roof, after which he fled on foot. He was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Alicia Syme, 20, North Canton, was cited for assured clear distance ahead at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 62 in Butler Township after her eastbound vehicle struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Darla Truex, 46, Seacrist Road, Salem, which was stopped in traffic.
Kelsey Runyon, 19, Hartley Road, Salem, was cited for reasonable control at noon Nov. 14 on Hartley Road in Butler Township after her vehicle crested a hill at a high rate of speed, she lost control and the vehicle went off the right edge of the roadway and struck an embankment.
Sheryl Freeman, 37, Glasgow Road, Lisbon, was driving east at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Township Road 1000 in Madison Township when her vehicle struck a deer.
Jason Holod, 28, Ohlin Drive, New Middletown, was driving east at 5:15 a.m. Monday on state Route 14 in Unity Township when his vehicle struck a deer.
