Common Pleas for 11-21

A Cleveland man was sent to prison for dealing drugs in Lisbon.

Jeremy Flake, 24, was sentenced to one year in prison by Columbiana County Common Pleas Court Judge C. Ashley Pike after previously pleading guilty to two counts of drug trafficking and two counts of drug possession. He received mandatory credit for 38 days spent in the county jail on the charges.

Flake sold crack cocaine from his apartment on West Washington Street, Lisbon, in March and April 2006. Also in April 2006, police found crack cocaine hidden in his boot and on his TV.

Flake was originally scheduled to be sentenced on March 6 but failed to show. He arrested several months later in Cleveland and returned to the county.
